ABOUT US:
The American Legion Riders of Iowa was formed in June 2002 by a small group of veterans who share a common interest in riding motorcycles.
We ride in support of the American Legion and our veterans, to promote motorcycle safety and in support of our community. We now have 16 chapters in Iowa.
We have charity events throughout the year. We participate in the annual toy run, parades, color guards and many other events.
The American Legion Riders of Iowa program has provided a lot of enjoyment for those members who share a common interest in motorcycling.
The American Legion Riders is open to members of the American Legion, Auxiliary, or S.A.L who ride motorcycles (along with their spouses).
You must own a motorcycle of 500cc or larger. You do not have to change posts to be a rider although all meetings are hosted by Urbandale Post 663.
Our monthly meetings are held on the last Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at Post 663.
